Areas of Practice
CPR & AED
CPR and AED courses are designed to train the student in adult, child and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED.
CPR and AED Certification is through the American Heart Association, the golden standard of CPR training.
Certification lasts for 2 years.
Class is often taken with First Aid.
acls certificatioN
This is an advanced course in managing cardiac failure and cardiac arrest in both prehospital and in-hospital setting. A book must be purchased and the student pretest must be taken before the class with a passing rate of 86%. Study material is available on our resource page to help you learn the algorithms. We recommend 10 days of study time prior to this class, especially if your not using this material on a day to day basis. Prerequisite: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider.
FIRST AID
This is certification in First Aid. Training covers the recognition and treatment of seizures, diabetes emergencies, wound care, shock, burns, hot/cold weather emergencies, asthma, allergic reactions, poisonings and bleeding control.
Meets OSHA requirements.

pals certification
This class is an advanced course in managing respiratory and cardiac compromise in pediatrics. This course is for both the prehospital and in-hospital settings. The course requires an in depth knowledge on ECG interpretation, cardiac medications and patient presentation. A book must be purchased and the student pretest must be taken before the class with a passing rate of 86%. We recommend 10 days of study time prior to this class, especially if you are not using this material on a day to day basis. Prerequisite: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider.
BLS for healthcare providers
This in-class course prepares the professional healthcare provider to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Course includes CPR in Adults, Children, Infants, AED (Defibrillators), 2-Person CPR, and Bag Valve Mask assisted respirations.
